Her tireless efforts have positively impacted the lives of countless students.
In addition to her outstanding educational achievements, Yovonda serves as an enlisted soldier in the United States military, holding the position of Human Resource Specialist. Her exceptional skills in document preparation, drafting requests, and overseeing official documentation for her fellow military personnel have been invaluable. Yovonda’s dedication to serving her country during the challenging times of the COVID crisis is truly commendable.
Yovonda’s academic accomplishments further exemplify her pursuit of excellence. She graduated Cum Laude from South Carolina State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics. She holds a Master of Science in Higher Education, specializing in Teaching and Learning. Currently pursuing doctoral courses in Management with a concentration in Human Resource Management, Yovonda is set to graduate in December 2023 with a Master of Science degree in Organization Leadership, focusing on Organizational Development within the field of education. Additionally, she is a certified Mathematics teacher for grades 5 to 9 in the state of Florida.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Yovonda passionately serves as a mentor, tutor, and coach for a dance team consisting of troubled youth. Through dance, she empowers these young individuals, helping them find their voice and express themselves. Yovonda’s commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of those facing challenges is truly inspiring.
