This esteemed recognition celebrates Dr. Pius’ exceptional contributions to the field of medical science.
Dr. Pius’ academic journey is marked by outstanding achievements and an unwavering commitment to excellence. He obtained his Honours Professional Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Sciences, specializing in Medical Laboratory Sciences, from the esteemed University of Dschang. Continuing his educational pursuits, Dr. Pius furthered his studies at the University of Yaoundé 1, where he earned a Master of Medical Sciences and a Doctor of General Medicine Degree with research. Dr. Pius also holds a Specialist Certificate of Clinical Sciences with a Pediatric specialization, in addition to several supplementary certificates in child psychology and medical research.
Driven by a thirst for knowledge, Dr. Pius pursued a dual Doctor of Philosophy Degree in Human Biology from Selinus University, with co-tutoring from California University-FCE. His research focuses on the psychosocial dimensions of perinatality in Cameroonian women, and he is currently working towards a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology in this field.
In addition to his academic achievements, Dr. Pius has made significant contributions as a physician and civil servant for the Ministry of Public Health of Cameroon. His dedication to the healthcare system and the well-being of patients has been instrumental in making a positive impact.
Dr. Pius’ outstanding accomplishments have garnered him numerous professional and scientific accolades. He was honored with the “First Class” Pediatric Intern Award from Cameroon pediatric interns and residents, acknowledging his exceptional performance. Furthermore, he holds the esteemed title of “First Class” Cameroon Pediatrician and has been awarded the World Certification Master Clinician Award from the Accreditation of High-Quality Standard Education. Dr. Pius has also played an active role in professional associations, including his prestigious position as the Premier-Chairman of the Association of Cameroon Pediatric Interns and Former Pediatric Interns.
Internationally, Dr. Pius’ contributions to scientific research have been recognized with the Distinguished Scholar Award from the European Journal of Scientific Research. This esteemed accolade acknowledges his groundbreaking work in highlighting the negative impact of specific psycho-sociocultural influences on the breastfeeding process.
